Search Maps

Below you will see two different styles of search maps.  These maps were provided by Janet Wilts who is the leader of the search dog teams.

Each different color represents different search areas covered by different dog teams.  Dots and or markers represent areas of interest to the dogs.

Some of these areas were searched by multiple dog teams, but due to the cold temperatures and snow the probability of detection was very low.

Areas of interest range from about 3,000 feet to 9,000 feet and are several miles apart.
