History

On November 10, 2007, an unseasonably beautiful Saturday, Clay went for a day hike in Sinks Canyon in the Wind River Mountains near his home in Lander, Wy. When he didn't return, a massive search was mounted by his friends, colleagues from NOLS, and teams of dedicated professionals who all gave of their time, strength, and support so generously. What happened to him is still unknown.
